REPLACED PARTS MILEAGE CHANGED

I HAD WATER DAMAGE TO CAR REPLACED MANY PARTS BUT NOT SPEEDOMETER NOW IT SHOWS I HAVE 5,000 MILES BEFORE I HAD 95,000 CAN I TAKE TO DEALER OR REPLACE PART IS THERE A PART I CAN USE OFF OF MY OLD PARTS

The only way to tell is to try using a diffrent cluster and see what happens. The mileage is stored in the PCM. If the new cluster shows the same 5,000 miles then the PCM is going bad.
