WORKED FOR CHRY. FOR 22 YRS. QUESTION IS ,I HAVE A 99 INTREPID DRIVERS DOOR WON'T OPEN, IT'S UNLOCKED I THINK THE LATCH LINKAGE CAME UN HOOKED (INSIDE AND OUTER HANDLE) HOW CAN I GET TO THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR IF I CAN'T GET IT OPEN?

 

You could try a slim jim, but they are usually for popping the lock. Other than that, cut a hole in the interior panel and after you fix the linkage and open the door, get a replacement at the junk yard (or buy one from the dealer).

You could always break the other side, paint a rebel flag on your car and call it the general! LOL

 

I GOT THE DOOR OPEN, IT WAS NOT THE LATCH, IT WAS THE BOTTOM OF THE INNER DOOR PLN. CAUGHT ON THE BOTTOM DOOR WAY. NOW THE POWER DOOR LOCKS ONLY WORK TO OP[EN NO LOCK FROM BOTH FRONT DOOR SWITCHES.HELP?
