I have a 2002int with 105M on it. Tires are goodyear viva II's, with 32,000 miles on them. I had tires rotated and ballanced, but ride is still rough with a little steering wheel shimmy at various speeds, especially around 35-40 mph. I told this to guys that rotated wheels, and they checked out linquages and said front end seemed tight. I hate to invest in a new set of tires if there is something else wrong.Steering does not pull either way and tires are wearing very well. You just feel this vibration coming up through steering (I think).

 

The Viva's aren't even Goodyears. They're Walmart tires with Goodyear's name licensed to them. Junk. Could be a bent wheel, but my money is on the tires. Get some real Goodyears (like Assurance comfortreds) or another good tire like the Dunlop Signatures that I run on my '99 ES (up one size to 235/60-16's).
