Hello I have a stock 02 intrepid se 2.7l . It failed smog today. It passed emissions but failed funtionality because the OBD failed to proform all its selftests. I just finished replaceing the evap purge solenoid and I had no issue eraseing the trouble code . but now my obdII reader gets a link error when it gets to pkw2000 and iso9141 (I think thats the number) . Can anybody help me figure out where to start looking to fix this. I already verified the connection of the solenoid and its seated well and looks to have a solid connection. Ok I drove it around for another 50 miles or so and now I can get a good read on my obd ii reader . I get no codes and I go threw I/m menu and it all reads ready except evap ready. Is is saposed to be ready?
