Had the same problem with my 2000 3.2 ltr. Turned out to be a slight leak in the oil pressure sensor. Relatively cheap to repair.

Default Oil Light Flickers

Hey, I'm not really sure why my oil light flickers too, at idle, even after going 10-15 miles, and at a stoplight, it flickers. When I shift into Neutral, it goes out, but is back on at idle speed at a stoplight. I have a 1999 2.7 Liter, any ideas?
