Default Looking at '98 Intrepid

I'm looking at a '98 Intrepid for my son. It's an ES, 3.2L V6, 55K miles, pretty clean all around. Any ideas/advice of problem areas to check on this particular year and model? Any thoughts as to a decent price to shoot for? Thanks.

The fact that is DOESN'T have the 2.7L V6 is a VERY good thing!

how old is your son? I'm 17 i have one, mien is an 02 with 33K though. but anyways they look cool, my friends are impressed by it, and your sons will be too. it is a nice safe good looking comfortable sedan. my 2.7 keeps up with the v6 mustang, so the 3.2 will impress quite a few of his friends too.
