I have a 02 2.7 liter intrepid. About a month ago the transmission started sticking, just about everytime I drive it jerks when I come to a stop from driving on the highway. It looks about everytime I go above 50 mph and then come to a stop it jerks and then when I go it seems to stick and the rpm's are higher. Can anyone suggest what is happening?

 

[size=1]2002 2.7, and my car is doing exactly the same thing. After driving on the freeway for a while once I slow down to about 30 MPH, it suddely jerks and gets stuck in 1st gear the RPM goes real high, I pull off the freeway, and stop the car, put into park and then turn off. Then it works just fine, it seems to be happening once a day?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
