Common issues to look for?
For the new daily(looking to buy within the next 90 days), I'm going to be looking at 98-04 style Intrepid, Concorde and 300. What I wanted to know, are there any big common issues I should be aware of? Any recalls that I should ask about when looking at them etc. I need a full size sedan, I would prefer rwd, but I like these enough to overlook them being fwd. Do they ride nicely? Because that's kind of an issue also. I've been driving a sport compact for the last 5 years, so I really want to have a comfortable ride for my next car, basically I'm going to be looking at these, and 94-02 Caddy fleetwood, 98+ Towncar and 00-05 Impalas. So please tell me how the big chryslers compare to the other cars for comfort and reliability.
for starts the a/c evaporator are an issue in all the lh cars. be careful about the a/c. second of all if you get a vehicle with the 2.7L make sure it is 2002 or later. overall they are great cars, but they are starting to age so just be a smart buyer

All 3 cars are relatively the same size, layout, and mpg averages. The 300 and Concorde are a bit more upscale, but the Intrepid is the more roomy of the 3.
Like Nick said, the A/C evap is an issue on all the Intrepids.....
Unfortunately, the only RWD big sedans for the last 20 years has pretty much been GM and Ford....
