Default 1999 Concorder v6 3.2 starting issues

Hello all,

My wife's 99' concorde has intermittent starting issues. weve had the starter replaced twice already, and it's stil having issues.

basically its a PITA to get it to start, No crank no nothing, sometimes it starts right away and sometimes it takes about 20 turns of the key to get it to start. When it doesnt start, it doesnt do anything, no noise nothing, the only thing that happens is that the dash lights do their flashy thing and the radio clock goes black while I try to start. So basically We've elliminated a starter problem since the thins is the second brand new starter with selenoid installed. The relay has also been changed. Starting issues seem to occur when its either warm, or damp out, when its cold and dry, it doesnt seem to have a problem. Do you think it could be a bad ground wire somewhere? Or would it be the ignition switch?

any ideas ?

Right now, the thing starts, it just takes multiple tries.

thanks!

-Tim

It sounds more like a ground issue to me. It shouldn't be too hard to find because its the starter, I'd say the main ground (or a bad cable from the battery to ground). One other thing to ensure...the starter is well/properly grounded.
