Default That dastardly "no bus" again

Greetings dodge forum! I drive a 04 2.7 'trep, and after installing my new stereo equipment today, i noticed my fuel guage wasen't registering, and when i started my car, the tacometer didnt move and the spedometer didnt move when i started to drive. On the odometer it reads 'no bus'. I'm told that there is some sort of connector of wires somewhere under the hood that i should disconnect and clean w/e.

Before i go tearing apart my car, i'm fairly certain i've simply blown a fuse somewhere, or something of that nature, since just as i turned up my amp, the problem appeared.

What can i do to get my tacometer, spedometer and fuel gauge to work again?

:Edit:

Additional details: When i put my key in and give it a turn to the first notch, the digital transmission display will properly show that i'm in park. If i give it another turn to the position just before turning the car on, that display then has squares appear over every gear, and my tacometer turns to 'no bus'. Before the 2nd turn, the tacometer will display the proper milage. Upon turning it further, just as the transmission display, the tacometer will go to 'no bus'. Could i have a ground problem?

Un-plug the stero and amp you just installed, and see if it still does it. My guess is that you you spliced into the wrong "run" or "hot" wire off the ignition

BTW, the "no bus" means your BCM isn't communicating. It's the reason you have no instruments.
