Who would win???
Well I found a Dodge Intrepid for sale. Its a 2000 with 55,000 miles for 6500. It has the 2.7l V6 with 202hp. Im not an intrepid fan but I like this deal just cause the dealer offers a 3 year 36,500 mile extended warranty, so if somethin major breaks while im in college ill be covered. If it breaks with no warranty im screwed cause i will have no money once college starts this fall. My friend just bought a 2000 Ford Mustang V6 with 116,000 miles. He really wants to race any car I get. Just curious... do ya think the intrepid could beat his stang. His stang was very abused. It was an ex-rental car and it was previously owned be another young kid 18-20. I think an intrepid could take him.
EDIT: P.S. His stang is an automatic.

If you had the 3.5, I'd bet it! I'm not to sure about the 2.7 though. When it came out in 00, the dealer hailed it BETTER than the 3.5! I never belived it and never bought one. I have heard over the years all the probs with the sludge etc, and am happy I never bought the 00, and kept my 97 ES.
Now as far as the stang goes, I recall renting one while in Navada once. It was the V6 with only 30K on it. It was a POS!!!! As I approcahed 100MPH, it was over sensitiveand handeled like crap. It was around a 00 car, I'd never buy one!!!! If this is the same, then you have a good chance at beating him (just because the handiling alone). As I recall, the stang lacked powed, but I also recall testing a new 00 trep, and didn't like the power either.
What ever you do, I'd recomend not racing unless ou are on a track and practiced... I'd hate to hear bad news on this fourm that someone was hurt racing an over sensitive stang that crashed into him.
