Started engine, backed out of parking space, pulled down the road... as I did a car pulled out in front of me so I slowed to allow them in. When I slowed down my car stopped. I could not get the car to restart. Recently replaced the input/output sensor when I was "stuck in 2nd gear", but that was months before this incident.
There is fuel getting to the engine (verified), no codes show up when tested. Sounds like it's trying to turn over but doesn't actually engage the engine.
Help!! All suggestions welcomed!!!

The car has been crippled since May and I really need my ride back!

 

check engine light on? sounds to me like a crank position sensor. check that and post back. i am also assuming you have a 3.2 based upon your user name?
