I did a 2.7 to 3.2 Swap on a 2001 Dodge Intrepid and used a 3.2 Engine from a 1998 Intrepid. Ive been able to get it to start and run but at times (hours to days) the car will automatically stop running and will not restart until the CPS is replaced. Simply unplugging it or resetting the computer wont fix it. Ive kept the stock 2.7 computer but have been told that the stock ECU may be overpowering the sensor and burning it out.... I would like to rule out the computer by replacing it... what cars can I get the ECU from without running into any issues or needing to reprogram it. Like stated earlier is a 2001 Intrepid without a "chipped key" black headed.
