Why not make the shop repair/replace it!?

If you are going to do it, first I'd try to re-thread with tap & die. If no good, there is a replacement part (part # is 04104511 for the 3.3 & 3.5 engine, probably dealer only). Its an ADAPTER, Oil Filter, Oil Filter to Cylinder Block. I did find it on a Russian site for 7.61 (dollars or euros??), so I don't think it's too expensive from the dealer. Ask the dealer parts dep to verify the part number and price. I've never tried to change it, so I don't know what it takes to get the job done.

Good luck,
Kurt

thanx man, well I managed to take it off with a adjusting oil filter wrench from princes auto, luckily the thread where the filter goes did not ripped "wuff", it did broke on the oil filter which is good for me ( i changed the filter with every oil change anyways, every 3000k) run a tapdie on the bolt just to make sure and it's fine.

I like to do all the work on the car myself so that's why i didn't want to go to a shop and car had no oil since i've drained it. The only reason i got previous oil change by the shop I was lazy and they offered a good deal, at least that's what they wanna think! Last time i'm going to quick lube place for oil changed lesson learned - don't be lazy! lol
