Hi, I have a 2004 intrepid , 144000 miles , all fluids are clean and full, trans feels great, no slipping, or surging but my check enging light came on today and stays on. I went by a tire kingdom shop and he put the computer on it and said its the trans sensor. Is this serious and what are my alternatives?

The code is probably for an input or output speed sensor and possibly a gear ratio error. It is a pretty easy fix and is not expensive.
