Just got a 2000 dodge intrepid with power locks and the driver door lock does weird things.
When I go to lock it when getting out of the car it makes a loud buzzing sound then locks the door.
Sometimes the key wilnot unlock the doors from the outside of the drivers door lock.
Pass outside door lock works fine, but when I am inside and push the pass side door lock switch the same buzz comes from my driverside door swith area.
Did I just confuse you all? lol

replace door latch. it is the power actuator that is noisy the only way to fix it is to replace the latch. way cheaper to do it yourself. about 200.00 at dealership.
