the capacity is in the owners manual. the diff does not use oil, it uses 80-90 gear lube. why would you change it? it has a lifetime fill and never needs changing unless you submerged the car..in which case the differential would be the least of concern.

Default Huh...

I wasn't aware it did not need changing. I have a Haynes manual for this car that said to change it every 30,000 miles with 75w-90 gear oil. Thanks for the input!

so what does the owners manual state? Transmission fluid should be changed every 30k. Realize a Haynes manual is very generic. The factory service manual and owners manual are prefered for better quality and more accurate information. Ok so you vehicle states 75w90. my interpid bood says 80w90 but still in my book it says to periodically check. it also states that changes are not required.

Checked my owners manual and it says to change the differential fluid every 48,ooo miles......Still it does not state the capacity. Guess I will have to drain and measure then go buy however much comes out...

Diff fluid is not lifetime fill. there was a revised fill quantity in a tsb in 01 or 02.
