I am installing a remote starter kit on my 2003 Dodge Intrepid.
I have all the connections made except for the tach wire.

The instructions for the starter say that I should use the tan/stripe wire at the coil pack.

I have a few questions.
1. Does the Intrepid even have a coil pack? Or does the computer simply fire the each coil directly.

2. There appear to be tan/stripe wires coming out of the coils themselves. Can I just use one of those?

3. How can I verify that I have the correct wire? I have a multimeter, and a red/green light test probe. Could I use one of them to verify the correct wire?
