check engine light on, flashes and bings and car loses speed no response to accleration on gas or de-accleration and then stops and resumes to normal - all the while check engine light flashes... come to a stop car gears down and will not switch gear after that... remains in 2nd gear only.. if stop turn car off and restart - carries on as normal. Recently took car to transmission shop and selanoid changed - same symptoms still exist - tranny shop took back in again and replaced I think the valve pack too ... car back and same symptoms.. Does anyone have knowledge of this and what could be causing the problem - I am so frustrated.. I was told that the car was giving ECM codes??? - codes were erased and check engine light out.. until coming to a stop after repair and light comes on and car goes into limp mode again....
