2001 intrepid radio turns on , cd player works, clock works but no sound at all from any speaker. I cant afford a new stero so i really need help

 

take singing lessons? there isn't much on the radio or TV worth listening to anyway. I'm sure you have an Ipod or equiv.

replacement cassette radio from a junkyard $20-$50 cd players usually 50-150. I have a known good cd player from an 01 intrepid base model I'd sell for $50 with shipping.

get a generic cheap radio and a $20 Walmart install kit.

 

Do you have the premium sound system with the amp? If
so, does the amp have power? Check your fuses.

 

To save you a headache when you take out your radio, buy the wiring harnesses for your stereo, saves you some frustration from wire cutting and blowing fuses, Check what kurts said about the fuses then I agree, swap out your radio, the stock is crap anyway!
