Wish more people would be in here but maybe its such a good car and wont break there is nothing to talk about..

 

I love my trep - but right now...don't know what the heck is wrong with it [:@] She is going in the shop tonight cuz the computer is reading to replace the 2 - O2 sensors that have already been replaced...I have 2 additional sensors downstream that I was planning on replacing, but couldnt reach them, so I am having the mechanic do that for me. She will shudder and stall - the computer is reading also that my cylinders are misfiring (more than 2) -- I sure hope that it isnt a bad EFI...or anything else!

 

Man sensors can drive you nuts. Best to take them into someone you trust and let them mess with it. I have a 2000 intrepid that has been running great for 40k. I drive it on the autobohn here in germany and I must say it goes real nice at 100mph. I had to swap out the tires and change the fluids more at that speed. I get 21mpg at 100mph. Did a 2 hour trip at that speed and man it was nice... Only thing is it revs a tad higher due to the american cars are geared lower. Wish I had the euro version.

mine is a 2002. i run mine extremely hard, and i haven't had a problem. yes it does run smooth at 100 for long periods of time, just don't tell Michigan state popo. mine is also at 40k. I'm using the Mobil 1 extended protection oil, and change it ever 3000 miles with motor flush, because of my engines reputation.

sorry it is slow over here. just very many big posters come over here, because they all drive rams. mopartodd and me come here from time to time, but I'm just not a car genius so i cant help everyone.
