2004 intrepid shifting problems
My car is stuck in first gear it wont change. it did this about 2 weeks ago but when I turned it off and then back on it shifted fine but the check engine light came on. so I didnt think anything else about it. well now it will not shift out of first at all and I dont know what the deal is. can anyone tell me what I am lookin at here? I dont think its the actual trans because when it shifts theres no problems could it be a wire or a sensor?

It can be a Sensor..
The best way to be sure is get it scanned too see what DTCS are present
