Default fuel line through the firewall.

My wife and I bought 2001 intrepid a couple years ago and havent had any issues. Recently she started to smell fuel through her vents when the heater or ac was on. I traced the smell to a hose that has a leak. I do not know what it is but it comes through the firewall and goes up under the dash in the interior. Under the hood it is connected to something bronze looking by the frame and then has a plastic clip that holds it to a plate off of the block then on its way to the firewall. The leak is right where the clip is, it has a very small mist spraying out. The strange thing is that the line itself has another rubber line over it to protect it from heat I am guessing yet it somehow has a leak through it and the actual fuel line. I do not know if this hose needs to be completly replaced or if its something that I just cut and splice or what? If it does need to be replaced does anyone know the part number or what the hose would be called????????? Any help I will appreciate....

Your local dodge dealer has a department called the Parts department. They can look up the part number of the tube you need for a direct replacement direct fit.
