Yesterday it started making a knocking sound. It only has 42,000 miles on it. Does anyone know what this noise could be? It also has a whining noise coming from the motor. I bought the car 7 months ago because it only had 36,000 miles on it and I love the car (except the MPG) I really hope it's not a fatal engine problem. Thank you in advanced for any help you can give.
