New to this forum. I have a question about the transmissions. I'm looking at buying a 1999 Intrepid with 150,000 miles on it. I've heard of issues with the motor, and a mechanic friend of mine said that they also had big issues with the transmissions. Does anyone know anything about any tramsmission issues?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

if it has a 2.7 don't even bother you'll be throwing your money down the drain.

the transmissions are not much of an issue and if you needed one, they are dirt cheap (since so many 2.7's are junk the bone yards are overflowing with good transmissions and bad motors)
