I have an 04 Intrepid.. Check engine light (amber one) Codes P1776/P0700 came up upon checking these codes out .. 0700 says there's a control system fault. 1776 says there's a Solenoid switch valve latched in the LR position...

I had the transmission solenoid valve replaced April 2010, approximately 25k miles ago .. at the Dealer ..

Should this be going bad again? .. Is this a common issue? The total Bill was 700.00 I'm hoping to not have to spend this again .. any advice ??

 

depending on what the warranty is, I would go back to the dealer and let them check it out. A solenoid pack shouldn't go bad in 6 months.
