No dash light after 2 seconds
Hello
I'm a newbie on the forum, but not at the internet
I searched the entire forum for similar problem, but found nothing
I have '99 Intrepid 2.7L
When I switch the headlight, the dash lights (the green lights, I mean) switch on, but then after second or two go off.
I did notice that when the outside temperature is below -15C (5F) the lights stay on.
Would appreciate any help.
Also, my trunk won't open not with the remote neither with the button.
Is it fuse?
Thanks ahead for the help

Both malfunctions have the BCM in common. With the cold issue, id lean toward the actual BCM because traces and semiconductors can go bad in this fashion (failure in a temperature range). You could make sure the grounding points for the BCM are good before spending the money on a BCM. Check out the sticky post the holy grail st the top of the fourm for a link to a shop manual. In it you will find the grounding point info as well as the info on changing the BCM
