First off, hello there. I'm new, just joined today.

Secondly, the reason I joined was because I need a little help with fixing my car. I am a diy-er. I love to know how things work and how to fix them myself.

The passenger door on my Intrepid just decided its not going to lock anymore. One day it was fine, the next, it didn't lock at all! Then a couple days later, it decided it would lock, but made a grinding noise when it did. And the next day it didn't work again, and hasn't since. Its been about two weeks now and I haven't been able to figure out the issue yet. I was hoping for some advice here.
I know it's not an electronic issue as I can't press down the lock manually either, if I try it goes down just a bit, only to bounce right back up.
Anybody know what's going on with it?
