I recently aqquired a 2004 dodge intrepid se with a 2.7L motor. The motor has a bad rod. My question is where can I get a used motor for this car? The junk yards seem to be up in the $1500 range. Does anyone sell a rebuild kit for this motor which would include pistons and piston rods and the gasket sets?

Just looking for the cheapest way to get the car back on the road. Preferrably ~ 1k or a little less to get it back on the road. I can do the labor, I've done three engine swaps so this really shouldnt be that hard, it is, however my first ohc motor. I've only had pushrod motors apart.
