I have a 1998 dodge intrepid with a v6.. A few months ago, my car ran a little rough, I added fuel injector cleaner and it ran fine up until recently. I was driving my car, and suddenly, my check engine light came on and started flashing, and running a little rough. I took it to the local mechanic, and told him the codes it was throwing. He changed the plugs and coil packs. It still didn't fix the problem, and he told me to take it to the chrysler dealer, and have them put it on their machine to see what the issue is. They want $100.00 to put it on the machine. I was told it may be the fuel injector? Does this sound right? I'd rather pay the 70.00 for the fuel injector rather than paying 100.00 just to see if that's the issue. Any information would be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance.
