New to forums so hey everyone lol first post

Anyway so im trying to replace it sound doesn't turn on,but the radio power does tried problem is this yellow and purple wire hooked to a connecter that has a prt on thw factory headunit but no place for the aftermarket. Tried.ghe regulars remote wire that disnt work would appreciate any help thanl you guys

Im using a harness compatible with my 1994 caravan can that be a problem ?
