Default What is the easiet way to change the serpentine belt on a 1999 Intrepid?

I tried to loosen what I thought was the idler pulley adjustment bolt, but I could not move the idler. I have no manual for this car, and it is extremely hard to see into the belt space. Can someone help me out with some quick tips? Thanks.

you have to loosen bolt and loosen nut on pulley. if it is a 2.7 then a/c belt tensioner is spring loaded. loosen both mounting bolts and use a 1/2" drive ratchet to move tensioner counterclockwise to remove belt. alt. belt has idler pulley remove as noted before.
