Default 2002 Intrepid - heater doesn't get hot

The weather has changed, and now that I no longer need my air conditioner, but the heater I find that the air does not warm up. The fan works at all speeds but no warmth. Anyone out there that can help me with what might be the problem?

Thumbs up been there

Frist thing to check is your level, if the coolant is low, this is important, your water pump may have gone out. The weep hole is behind the timing cover plate, check your oil filler cap if its muddy the pump is gone. If not then try a back flush of the heater core. You may need to remove the wiper blades, and cover to get some room. Disconnect both heater hoses and run water from you garden hose through. Use the hose closest to your recovery bottle to "BACK" flush your heater core. Run water both ways to be sure and this should help. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR LEVELS WATER PUMP MAY BE BAD. Also don't forget to bleed off air per the repair book, good luck.
