Exclamation Coolant Leak Radiator "Pic" Please Help!

I need to fix this from leaking it looks like its not the hose its a metal part where screws in I have been having to keep filling up the radiator every 2 weeks or so but just recently the pressure got too high and burst off the cap started to steam up and a lot of the coolant went into the other side for the over flow could that leak be causing this by replacing this part how much would it cost. Also could I fix it my self I don't want to get sicked if its pretty easy to fix.

For whatever reason, i cant see your pictures on my phone. If its coming out a little hole, its the water pump weep hole. You would need to replace it.

No sorry not the water pump weep hole!! this is your air bleeder value. Replace it and be sure to follow the directions in the book to bleed the system.

Default Leaking coolant dodge intrepid

Hey had same problem with my intrepid. When the coolant gets too hot this part goes bad. I fixed it myself and it wasn't hard.

Good luck

Default Leaking coolant

In my Hanes manual the nipple is called a bleed valve for the coolant system which is suppose to let out the air when opened. I think if the system gets to hot the part goes bad
