Default Need Help 03 Dodge Neon

Hello,

I have a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT 2.0 eng 160k miles. I have just in the last 24hrs replaced the following: Camshaft Position Sensor
To be exact the error is P0344 A Bank Intermittent Camshaft Position Sensor.
In the last month:
Timing Belt
Head
Water pump
Water inlet
Sparkplugs
Distributor and Wires
MAP sensor

My car starts up and runs fine but I am getting the error code P0344. I brought it in to the dealer and they think it is wiring but I can not afford at 100.00 an hour for them to be wrong. They suggested changing the CPS first, so I did and the error is still showing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Please help before my husband sells it for a Chevy

http://engine-codes.com/p0344_dodge.html

It also can be caused by a weak battery or starter.
Im going to assume you havent tested/replaced them yet.

Thank you for the direction. I did replace my battery less then a year ago and advanced auto bench tested my starter and it is good.

Any other advise (such as how to test the pigtail) would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you again!

You just clear the Code, wiggle the CMP connector, see if your engine start running 'funny', or CEL comming back on.
