01 Intrepid 2.7L Timing Chain skipped timming
Well I bought this Intrepid, it has 130K.
But the Previous owner stated, she was driving this
car, and all of the sudden the car died, it didn't want too
start no more!
So I removed the Valve Covers, I noticed, there
was no Sludge, just glitter alot!
I took off the Timming Covers, and the Timming Chain was loose.
The Water Pump Sprocket was actually loose from the water pump, amazing! I took off one of the heads and the Valves were not bent!
Well I drained the Oil, and it was really dirty, and with glitter,
and inside the Oil pan there was Guides from the Timming Chain..
Im really concerned if the Rod Bearings are wornout??
Does anyone have any opinions?
