I took my new 2004 SXT in for service. I thought the car was idling a little rough at times. The dealer did a Flash Controller change. The service receipt shows TSB 18-042-03, but no one can tell me what it does except that the car idles smoother now. How do I find out about the change? Did they just change the timing? Or maybe the fuel-idle mixture?
I found one site that sells TSB info, but they don't list this TSB.

No one will ever be able to tell what in flash is being done to correct the problem. DCx tells us flash the controller-we do. They don't tell us what is being reprogrammed. Could be fuel maps, spark curves, both, or none-who knows.

I just bought my SXT 3 days ago and I'll look into this TSB to see if it has been performed already and how long it is in effect or whatever.
