We bought a 1998 Intrepid about 2 months ago. It had 38,000 miles on it. About two weeks after we got it, there was a ticking sound toward the front of the motor and the check engine light kept coming on with the Random Multiple Cylinder Misfire code. Then the oil light kept flickering when it came to a stop or idle. We had the motor changed out under warranty so we have a brand new crate motor. The check engine light comes on and it still comes up with the same codes. The dealer told us that it was a bad radiator temp sensor... but will that cause that code to come up? Has nothing to do with the ignition. Or would it have something to do with our remote start?
