See...Seatbelts dont always SAVE LIVES!!!!

I hate the fact that everytime I watch the news and they report an accident; they think they have to report if the occupants of the vehicle were wearing their seatbelt.

Your misfortune makes me feel completely safe! My wife hit a deer earlier this week and "thinks" she was going 40MPH. I don't think there is any way she was going that fast or there would be a lot more damage. Glad to know that all were okay!

Well, glad to see that those who were in wrecks with their Intrepids are o.k., but at least you all have wrecked them and no longer have to deal with them. Mine has been an absolute nightmare!! 6 trips to the shop in an 8 month period for starters. I really don't think I could give this hunk of crap away, much less sell it. Glad to see some are having good luck with theirs (probably not the dreaded 2.7L like I have), but I wish I could set mine on fire and collect the insurance.

Seatbelts just save lives about 99.9% of the time.

Here's more of a reason to drive these. This was my 1995 3.3L maroon monster. A useless drunk in a DODGE RAM 2500 extended cab blew a stop sign doing over 70...Before you ask, I was blindsided, so no, there was no way I could've seen the retard.

That deserves the name of Scarface!
Dakota_24, there are some cases where it doesn't matter if one WAS wearing a seat belt or not...

I had a guy come up to me in the Wal-Mart parking lot and tell me that I had one hell of a car. I guess he was rear ended by someone doin 80 mph. I felt safe after hearing that. This post has been nothing but re-assurance.

My aunt was recently killed in an accident. Her vehicle rolled 5 or 6 times and she was ejected. She might have lived if she was wearing her seat belt. Instead, she had so much head trauma, we couldn't view her at the funeral home.
