my 99 intrepid just died about 2 two weeks ago, sadly, i put 30 dollars into the tank (which as everyone knows is about 3/4 a tank)

i have a civic now and need gas for it (i'm really really poor right now) and i need to know how to get it out, i bought a siphone hand pump, that seems to not work. I think it has something to do with the car, my mechanic told me some newer cars have a ball that floats in the gas tank to stop the gas from leaking when it rolls over and it also stops siphoning.

so my questions is there anything in a 99 intrepid that would make it hard/impossible to siphon gas from.

also.

if someone has siphoned gas from a 99 intrepid could you please make me a little step by step process.

buy like 10 feet of small hose, start by sucking it out with your mouth it sucks but works...
