I have also heard that they increased the oil passages, which should help eliminate the problem.

yeah thats what i understood to be the change to help with the problem.

Those people said they are not working on that case anymore because its to much or something. I have around 80,000 on my 99 and the only thing i've had to do besides maintenance is the evaporator and the valve stem seals are leaking oil alittle. I was planning on finding and converting it to a 3.5 HO engine like in the prowlers and maybe they have superchargers made for factory setup.

Yep. The main reason they go is if its on fresh air all the time since there is no filter on the outside. I always leave it on recurc.
