I am strongly considering purchasing a 2003 Intrepid SE with 60,000 miles. I had my general mechanic look it over and he found oil leaks rear of the oil pan, buildup of oil on the frame and tranny pan, and oil by the headgasket. When I then took the car to a certified Dodge dealer they told me the buildup of oil on the oil pan is common due to the design and layout. Does this sound right? Are there any known issues with the headgasket or anything similar on the 2003 Intrepid?
