I WANT SUM 20'S BUT HAVE HEARD THE RIDE IS NOT GOOD AT ALL. BUT I TOLD THEM YOU GOT TO GET THE OFFSET AND TIRE SIZES JUST RIGHT. NOW WITH THAT SAID WHAT SIZE TIRE AND THE OFFSET AND BOLT PATTERN DO I NEED I HAVE A 2000 INTREPID WOULD LOVE THE HELP THANKS IN ADVANCE

Before you make that statement, gather ALL the information.
My Intrepid has 20x8.5 Venti V56 and everything still works. People on http://www.dodgeintrepid.net have had 20" wheels on their cars for years, no problems there.
A hub spacer may be required since these cars are hub-centric.
My tires are 255/35/20 And the ride is still smooth.

Did you forget that low-profile tires exist?
WHO gave you the idea that you have to jack up your car if you want bigger wheels?!
Here's a guy with 22" wheels, and he didn't have to jack it up.
