Default 2.7 Upper Coolant Housing??

2000 intrepid
Took it to the shop to find out the source of the coolant leak. The service advisor and mechanic said it was comming from the upper coolant housing, not to be mistaken for the thermostat housing...I am stumped. I do know they had to take the intake off to source the problem. i dont know where this "upper coolant housing" is but I do know it wasnt blowing coolant from the bleed valve or anywhere near that on the front of the block. It was blowing from the general direction of the drivers side underneath the intake. It was definitely antifreeze, and they swore to me it wan't a head gasket. This is my girls car, she just wants to dump it, but I wanna get everything out of it we can. I'd appreciate any help i can get on this one.

well the intake need to come off because the new housing comes with a new pipe that goes to the other side of the engine aka the driver side and slips into a water outlet for the engine.
