I have a 2003 dodge neon sxt and my check engine light has been on for almost a year now...when it first came on we brought my car to the dealership and they said one of the sensors were out and they changed it and they light went off for maybea month or soand then came back on. The light will stay on for about a month and then turn off for a couple weeks and then it'll come back on. This has been going on for about a year now. I tried checking the codes by turning the ignition on and off and no codes come up. I was wondering if something would be wrong and it's just not giving me the code or if it could be that theres something wrong with the actual light; if anyone has any ideas let me know

 

If the CEL is lit the key dance should work. If not, take it to your local Autozone or wherever and get the codes read for free. Write down the codes and post back.
