would the mopar exhaust by borla for the srt-4 ($380 @ modernperformane) bolt right onto an 04 sxt? Would any mods be needed? Would this system be worth it if you have no turbo?

I have the same question. It seems as if the hangers would need to be altered. That's possible right?
How do u think it would sound with mods like mine? Will it sound like a fart can?

another cat-back exhaust option that is pretty cheap is getting the r/t style dual exhaust. That's probably what I will do becuase it is priced well and it isn't black & yellow like pacesetter.

If you dont mind spending the money I would go with the borla. Because it is stainless steel and you wont need to replace it later on. The magnaflow exhaust should also be stainless. I will just be installing a flowmaster muffler on mine since i have one laying around. If i keep the car for awhile I will more than likely get a borla or magnaflow cat back.
