Default Turbo question

Ok Im planning on installing A turbo in a couple months I have the timer right now. So would it be ok to install it now to save some headaches later on. So later all I have to wory about is installing the turbo. Or do I have to have the turbo installed with the timer at the same time.

If you think all you have to install later on is a turbo, then you have alot of research left to do.

I know about all the other stuff that goes along with putting the turbo I know that I have to uprade my engine I was just wondering if you just install the timer without the turbo being there. Also The timer w/o the turbo will still do something it will allow my engine time to cool down before shutting down. Even a stock engines oils should be given time to cool down. I did take a year and a half of engine performance I just missed my certification test by 2 points.

Damn 2 points!

Just checking on the turbo install, because alot of people think it's as simple as bolting on a turbo and going.
