does anyone know if the tcc switch is located on the valve body of the transmision, thanks for any help, ben

 

uhhh... "TCC"??? Little more info would be great! I.E. year model MTX or ATX!!

 

its a 2000 auto es and the check engine light came on the code said trans eletronics, there is no overdrive now, i was told its the tcc switch, whitch controls the over drive from the torque converter, just not sure where its at, i think its on the valve body of the tranny but i want to be sure before i pull the pan off and not real sure what it looks like, i should just spend the money and get a repair manual, thanks for the reply, ben.

 

go out and buy yourself a Hanes Automotive repair book its in there..... and without the pictures is kinda hard for me to tell you where it is.... but im pretty sure its in there....
