The temp guage is reading normal and the radiator is flowing. It did this through the winter when the temps weree in the teens and twenties. thats why im thinking temp sensor or even the fan it self. this is the wifes car so its stock with low miles.

I noticed my 2001 fan comes on while its still warming up,not on defrost. My temp sensor or whatever could be going too. Doesn`t stay on though, kinda sporatic, doesn`t seem normal.

strange...its not really a problem though (unless it annoys you lol) ... yes check the temp sensor and temp switch..(i believe there are two screwed into the side of the block..one is a switch the other a sensor...) but most people I know want their fans running MORE often to keep the motor cooler...especially when street racing...
