Good investments?

I have a 2002 Neon,and a retardwhen it comes to car upgrades and performance, I need to know what kind of upgrades I can get for my car to increase its overall power, right now i have a budget of $500 but what can i get for the best bang for my buck? Any advice is welcome

cold air intake,headers, cam gears, dats all i can think of wit your budget. dependin on wat u buy you can probably buy headers and a cold air intake.

Whats an estimate for the cold air intake/headers? Should i buy online or dealer? Also will this add noticable power or is it a gradual multiple component type of project?
